Dr. Salma Mirza

Dr Salma Mirza qualified from Royal Free and University College Medical School in London in 2006, and achieved membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2012. She also hold a BSc in Infectious Diseases and a Post-graduate Diploma in Sexual Health and Family Planning.

Her particular area of interest is Lifestyle Medicine, bringing a functional approach optimising diet, sleep, movement and wellbeing to improve chronic health conditions and weight loss. She is currently a Professional Member of the BSLM (British Society of Lifestyle Medicine) and was in the UK’s second cohort to become a Diplomate and gain international accreditation in Lifestyle Medicine becoming a certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner. Additionally, she also holds professional membership to global organisations for Obesity Management SCOPE and ASO.

She currently work as GP in Hertfordshire for both NHS, Online and the private sector including Chase Lodge Hospital.. As a health coach she brings a passion and wealth of experience for holistic care to clients, offering enriching alternatives to mainstream medicine. She enjoys family life and is a mum of three young children and when not with them will be found on the netball court.

As well as being a GP and online Health Coach, she holds several additional roles including being an assessor for the GP Selection Assessments for East Of England Multi-Professional Deanery. She has written and reviewed articles for ‘Innovait ‘, an RCGP journal for training GPs and sits on the committee for Watford and West Herts Medical Society.
