Dr Sturridge graduated from The Middlesex and University College Hospital Medical School with distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1988.

She worked as a registrar in London teaching hospitals including Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital for women, UCH and St Bartholomew’s and held an academic research job lecturing at UCL teaching.

She became a member of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1994 and an Associate Member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care of the RCOG.

She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has been a GP appraiser for NHS England since 2007.

In partnership with a number of professional dance teachers, doctors and therapists she has opened a dance and well-being hub in North Finchley after a lifetime of dance fun and the success of the dance movement therapy pilot-scheme at Chase Lodge Hospital.

In the daytime she still works as a GP and Clinical Partner at Chase Lodge Hospital, Mill Hill, NW7 2ED, to keep her dogs and husband in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

She speaks English, French and a little Russian.
