There are three groups of people who need to be vaccinated against pneumococcal infections:
- people aged 65 and over
- anyone between the ages of two and 65 with a long term health condition which includes, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, taking steroids, had chemotherapy and suffer with a weak chest.
- All pregnant women should have the flu jab
- All children with weakened immune system should have the flu jab
- All adults with an underlying health condition
- ANYONE over 65
