Chase Lodge Hospital are pleased to offer a variety of Covid-19 rapid and laboratory tests. As we head in to this Winter, it is more important than ever to be able to quickly diagnose your symptoms to give you peace of mind. We are delighted to be able to offer the WHO Approved Covid-19 Rapid Swab test giving results within 15 minutes, enabling people to be aware if they are positive or negative for the Covid-19 virus. This will mean that you can self-isolate sooner should you get a positive result. If you receive a negative result but you are still unwell or are concerned, we are able to carry out a point of care test. Please see our page on Point of Care Testing for further information.

PCR for Covid-19
- £119.00 - Gold Standard Laboratory PCR Test, results available within 48 hours *
WHO Approved Rapid Swab Test
- £65 – NHS Endorsed Covid-19 Rapid Swab Test, test carried out by our nurse. Results available within 15-30 minutes and emailed securely to you.
- £119 – NHS Endorsed Covid-19 Rapid Swab Test with a Doctor’s appointment. Results available within 15-30 minutes, discussed and emailed securely to you.
- £165 – NHS Endorsed Covid-19 Rapid Swab Test, including PCR Test.
- £219 – NHS Endorsed Covid-19 Rapid Swab Test, including PCR Test (with a doctors appointment)
Rapid Finger Prick Test
- £49 -Rapid finger-prick test with our nurse, results available within 15 minutes
- £96.50 – Rapid finger-prick test with a Doctor’s appointment, results available within 15 minutes
- £149 – Rapid finger-prick test and PCR Test
- £196.50 – Rapid finger-prick test and PCR Test, with a Doctor’s appointment
Antibody Tests
- £49.00 - Abbotts Antibody Test
- £69.00 - Roche Spike protein antibody test
Please note, if the Rapid Tests show a Positive result, it is strongly recommended that, in line with Government guidance, you follow this up with a Gold Standard PCR Test and Self Isolate immediately.
*We will endeavour to get the results back to you within 48 hours however taking into account the present climate regarding PCR testing we cannot 100% guarantee this so please bear this in mind when booking that we cannot accept responsibility if your test results are not back in 48 hours.
