Podiatry

A podiatrist or chiropodist can help you with common foot problems, including ingrown toenails and bunions. What’s the difference between a podiatrist and a chiropodist? There’s no difference between a podiatrist and chiropodist, but podiatrist is a more modern name.

Podiatrists can be thought of as a type of foot doctor. Steve Kriss, our podiatrist, holds regular clinics here advising on many different aspects of foot care and foot wear. Podiatrists can also treat and alleviate common troublesome foot problems including:

  • athlete’s foot
  • bunions
  • corns and calluses
  • dry and cracked heels
  • flat feet
  • painful feet
  • smelly feet
  • toenail problems such as thickened, fungal or ingrown toenails
  • verrucas

Mr Kriss can also advise on orthotics, which are tailor-made insoles, padding and arch supports to relieve arch or heel pain and help make your feet more comfortable.
